BDSM Mentors is back, offering classes in the Los Angeles area on topics related to BDSM and power exchange relationships.

BDSM Mentors was formed in 2007 by Colin Sir and Lord Dan.   Offering full weekend “boot camps” and special topic classes, their goal was to bring rich educational material to the Los Angeles BDSM community with more depth and attention than shorter classes or workshops could provide.

Mentors not only provided hands-on education for hard skills, such as flogging, rope bondage, impact play, and more advanced topics; it taught those things in a broader context of BDSM relationships, with an emphasis on power and authority exchange.

A vital part of BDSM Mentor’s mission has always been to teach “soft” topics as well as provide technical instruction.  Topics covered have included managing poly relationships, ethics, understanding different relationship dynamics, and building community for those looking to explore BDSM at a deeper level.

With the passing of Lord Dan in 2010, BDSM Mentors discontinued weekend seminars and special topic classes.

Beginning in 2013, we are happy to announce that BDSM Mentors will resume classes, beginning for a series of educational seminars and workshops, building, once again, to weekend-long retreats, designed to give a true immersive and extended education into both technical skills and relationship dynamics.
